Why we need your help
In Guatemala and around the world, cancer remains one of the leading causes of illness and death, with recent reports showing a high number of new cases and deaths annually.
The economic and social impact of cancer is profound: the costs of treatment, transport, and care increase the vulnerability of families and can prevent patients from completing their therapies.
Population growth and aging increase the burden of cancer and limit the capacity of health systems to care for all those who need it.
